why does the nfl keep coming back to new orleans? you get off the plane and you remember why. we're in the middle of the mardi gras parade season. we saw one of the last ones they'll have for a bit sunday. you see some of the floats and the bands going by. takes about two months for those floats to go from a thought and idea to being painted and out on the street. good stuff over there in new orleans. they're going to take about a week long break of the parties and parades on mardi gras on canal street there for the super bowl. it will be too much craziness with both events going on at the same time. they'll resume up with mardi gras parades up until fat tuesday which falls on february 12th this year. it's a big bummer for 49er players who got off the team plane last night at 7:00 a half hour before schedule because they missed that last mardi gras parade on canal street last night. the team -- i don't think they would partake in that too much. they talked to the media an hour later. the big theme the team talked about is that this is a business trip for them. trying to take e
